Pre-Owned Luxury Condition Guide

Understanding condition before you buy.

Pre-owned luxury is not retail luxury. Signs of use can be normal - what matters is transparency, structure and wear consistency.

Our condition scale connects clear industry grading with more human resale language, so you know what to expect before checkout.

Resale Truth

Used ≠ bad

Ageing patina and light wear can be normal parts of pre-owned luxury

JJ Luxe Standard

Visible first

We show wear areas clearly so you can decide with confidence, not guesswork.

A Better Way to Read Condition

Technical grades should still feel easy to understand.

Most resale websites use standard grades such as New, Excellent, Very Good, Good and Fair. These are useful, but they can feel cold or unclear if customers do not know what they mean in real life.

JJ Luxe keeps the standard grading system for clarity, then adds a more human explanation underneath each grade: what if feels like, what to expect, and where to look in the product images.

This help customers understand the difference between normal pre-owned character and condition points worth asking about before purchase.
